RC Twin Pulse Jet

Scratch built RC Twin pulse jet powered delta.

Valved engines running on unleaded petrol. 1 liter of fuel per engine for 10 mins of flying.

230mph top speed. 10 mins duration.

    Yes, it is retractable!….quite possible. Only necessary if you have nice tarmac to fly off, bungee/ramp can be a pain!

    The engines are not home made, but bought from Z-model in Italy….they are the best people to talk to….I just light the fires and fly the thing!

    I tried a Doppler program on the soundtrack and got 240mph on one of the high passes, the low flyby is “only” 200mph based on that method

    You probably need a ‘hopper’ tank. Just have a look at how the Ducted Fan guys used to do it…. Try to keep the hopper tank in line with the center of the engine, a bit like a IC Carburettor.
