How do I change my landline phone from pulse dialling mode to tone dialling?

I need to change the dialling tone on my landline from pulse to tone dialing.

Usual there is a small slide switch on the bottom or occasionally on the back of the phone. It will be marked Tone/T and Pulse/P; simply slide it to the Tone/T position.

Unless it is a very old phone, there is a switch somewhere that will say T/P.. Just switch it to tone…(T)

the above options are fine for corded phones, or many older cordless phones, but most newer cordless phones have this feature in the menu.. you would need to scroll around in the menu for the settings… check your user manual, if you provided a model number someone could have provided you with a link to the manual, and procedure for your particular phone..
