I am actually half way through building a new loop for my QTH rite now.
I still have quite a bit to do but I am in no real hurry.
It is to be used in winter time , so I still have a month or two left.

I actually went with a totally different idea of controlling the capacitor electronically.

I have built a controller for a digital RC servo and this will work against a drum capacitor.

Never heard of a drum capacitor ?
