How good is my Pokemon Diamond team?

1. Infernape
Rock Climb, Close Combat, Dig, Overheat

2. Floatzel
Crunch, Ice Beam, Surf, Waterfall

3. Roserade
Giga Drain, Toxic, Cut, GrassWhistle

4. Staraptor
Fly, Close Combat, Aerial Ace, Defog

5. Luxray
Strength, Thunder Fang, Thunderbolt, Crunch

6. Giratina
Shadow Force, Dragon Pulse, Earth Power, Slash

Any suggestions? & thanks in advance.

1: Infernape get rid of close combat for areal ace, and overheart for flame thrower, and dig for earthquake

2: get rid of ice beam for ice fang

3: get rid of cut for magical leaf

4: fine

5: get rid of every move and teach it the fang move (ice fang,etc)

6: get rid of shadow force for shadow ball

    your pokemon have a mix of special attacks and attacks. try focusing on the higher stat and teach those types of moves. like instead of overheat, try teaching a physical move like Flare Blitz. And so on…

    Infernape has a higher base ATTACK than base SPECIAL ATTACK, so I would take off overheat and replace it with flare blitz, blast burn, or fire punch (you decide). Also, rock climb??? I just don’t like it because it’s an HM…most of your "useless" HM moves (moves other than surf or fly: you can keep those) should be taught to pokemon aside from you team. For example, I have a Golduck that knows rock smash, rock climb, waterfall, and strength. In place of rock climb, I would put a move to counter Infernape’s psychic weakness (U-turn, Shadow Claw, etc.) And replace dig with earthquake. And close combat is kind of a gamble.

    Shadow Claw / U-turn
    Close Combat / Brick Break
    Earthquake
    Fire Punch / Blast Burn / Flare Blitz
