Unlike, thank you for your kind words. Suffication is my biggest fear. This was the most terrifying experience I have ever had. It has had a major effect on my life. Even days later, it was still effecting me physically. I ended up being 911-ed to the ER becuse even a day later my blood pressure was 210 over 160.

And then eharing about Ms Desir brought it up all over again. Even though I relive the experience continually.

No, CC. Great question though. Your little brother is lucky he has you looking out for him. I’m talking about people with respiratory or lung problems like COPD, Emphysema, or heart, circulation problems. As long as he has his pumps he should be fine. But thats also a good question to have your Mom ask his Doctor if his asthma is real bad. Especially if he has a cold when he flys.

Does people who hav asthma need oxygen when flying. My little ten year old brother has asthma. He always fly to Haiti every summer with my mom.
We always have his asthma pump with him and other medicine.

I know the video is rough and homemade, but I wanted to do what ever I can right now to raise peoples awareness. I was afraid to say anything to anyone about what happened to me because I was ashamed of getting my self in the situation. Ashamed for needing oxygen. Of bothering anyone. But after reading about Ms Desir, I say BOTHER SOMEONE!

thank you for this video. i am a private pilot training to be a professional pilot. and though i don’t plan on being an airline pilot, this information you’ve given me may still be helpful. strange, considering i searched for ‘harmonica therapy’; perhaps that’s an odd thing to begin with. however, thank you for your testimony. i’ll pass it on when available.
