I had a problem with the main subwoofer, the coil was overheating. After that, the subwoofer still works, but very badly; I heard a strange noise coming from the coil. I remembered, I have a subwoofer in a box (this from my old logitech z3). I started testing the amplifier of labtec to see if the amp was still running. I was astonished by the subwoofer excursion by providing a power amplifier (about 6 to 10 watts). At the end of the installation of the subwoofer I have put tape on the sides of the subwoofer because the air passing through the sides that makes a funny noise.
