This amp design is not 5.1 surround sound – it is pure unadulterated stereo with no sound equalization (bass, mid-range, treble). i did not want sound shaping circuitry to take away any subtle detail from the music recordings. Also eliminating the sound equalization circuitry adds a 3dimesional character to the sound; of which is hard to prove with my camera’s mic.
5.1 surround adds too much distortion and time delays via filters to the music’s signal.
