why did a lab experiment w/ students showed an increase in pulse rate as mass increased when they exercise?

is that suppose to happen. notice i said the pulse rate was higher in larger persons after they exercised than the smaller persons. why?

Because the heart has to work extra hard to keep up with the added mass load of body weight.

Heart has to work harder to get the blood pumped throughout a larger body… It takes more time to oxygenate a larger body than a smaller?
