obviously, the more intense the exercise is the higher your pulse will rise. it rises because as you push your self harder, your body requires more oxygen. therefore, your heart and the rest of your circulartory system works harder to keep up with your bodies demand for more oxygen. ergo the higher pulse rate.

When you exercise, your pulse rate goes up because your heart pumps blood fast for the body to have sufficient supply of oxygen. In exercise, your pulse goes up, and your heart rate goes up too!

over time, exercise lowers your resting pulse rate. its good for you! sure your pulse rate will go up during exercise, but it will go back down and the more you exercise the lower its will be. if i keep at it 5 days a week for months on end, i can keep my resting pulse in the 60s which is superb.
