Does Exercising and being in a state of anxiety increase blood/pulse pressure substantially, for example:
Resting – pulse/blood pressure= 120/80
Exercise/anxiety – pulse/blood pressure= 140/100

Is the above example an acceptable and healthy change?

Or does anxiety/exercise momentarily reduce blood pressure?

And lastly, does long term stress really raise blood pressure? or is this just a myth.

Blood pressure is expressed as 2 numbers, the systolic is the top number and the diastolic is the bottom number. Systolic pressure is the pressure exerted by blood as it flows through the arteries and diastolic pressure is the opressure blood makes as it pushed outward against the walls. Pulse is teh difference between the 2 numbers. So, if your blood pressure is 120/80, your heart pulse is 40, which is normal. Many experts believe that heart pulse is a more important number than blood pressure and that it a better predictor of heart problems. Anxiety tends to increase blood pressure.

The characteristic impedance is given at 50 ohms, source voltage is 64V with pulse width of 0.1 micro second, source resistor is 30 ohms, velocity of propagation is 200 meter per microsecond. Load resister is 200 ohms. How do you draw the pulse waveform at the source and load?
Sorry about that. The distance is 60 meters for the transmission line.

You need to give the transmission line length. The pulse starts off at the generator end with an amplitude of 40 volts =(50/(50 + 30)* 64 and a current of 0.8 amps. At the load end the reflection coefficient is (200 -50)/(200 + 50) = 0.6, the voltage at the 200 ohm resistor will be 64 volts = 40(1+0.6) and the current will be 0.32 amps = 0.8(1- 0.6). A pulse will be reflected back to the generator with a voltage of 24 volts and a current of – 0.48 amps. The negative sign on the current means the current is traveling in the reverse direction ie toward the generator. I am assuming that the line is longer than 20 meters and that only one pulse is generated.
The return pulse will be reflected back to the load, with a reflection coefficient of (30 -50)/(30 +50) = -0.25, the voltage at the generator will be 24(1 -0.25) = 18 volts with a current of -0.48( 1 + 0.25) = -0.6 amps. The pulse reflected back to the load has a voltage of -0.25* 24 = -6 volts and a current of -0.12 amps. This will go on until the pulse is totally attenuated.

For example, if you click on someones yahoo pulse information, sometimes it shows their connections. But sometimes it states "only shares info with connections." How do you change the settings so it states only shares info with connections?

Hi

When you log on to Yahoo! Pulse, on the right hand upper side, you will notice a "Setting" option. Once you click on it, you will see "Privacy" option, select "Manage Privacy settings" right below the Privacy Option and My updates. You will see a list of options that you may chose from. Specially if you want to make your connections private in Yahoo! Pulse, select "connections only" against "New Connections" and save.

Hope it helps.

Thanks

iSHA

How can I go back to the first gran pulse where there was lots of strong monsters and the adamontoise i think they are called?

If I remember correctly, then there are 2 ways you can get to the giant field:
1) Run there. All the roads are connected, so just follow the pathway.
2) Teleport there. There should be a black Cieth stone nearby. If you’ve done its mission, then you’ll be able to teleport back. This teleportation will only work if you’ve also done a mission for one of the black Cieth stones in the field.

I have a metal halide 100w bulb, along with a mercury vapor 100w bulb. Neither one will turn on when i screw it into a regular light bulb socket. I know now that I need a pulse start ballast for the metal halide bulb, I’m not sure about the mercury vapor bulb. Can anyone tell me where I can buy a pulse start ballast for the metal halide bulb? Preferably a store, rather than a website.

You will need to go to an electrical supply house and get a fixture for that lamp. It will have:

a) The correct and properly marked terminals for the voltage it is being fed.
b) The correct ballast.
c) The correct capacitor to go with the ballast.
d) The correct ceramic base for the lamp (it gets exceedingly hot).
e) The correct shield across the face of the lamp – should it burst, it will do so explosively. And it can do so from a small fault in the glass or even from rough handling.

But the short answer is any electrical supply house near you. Denny’s Electric if you are in Pennsylvania for one example.
