my pulse is normally high, so when i get nervous…it gets way higher. weeks ago they did not let me donate blood because my pulse was at 120. why is it bad to donate blood if your pulse is high? what is so bad about that?
It’s likely because drawing blood effects your body in a strange way, so with a pulse at that rate, it was probably unhealthy for YOU to donate the blood, maybe you would faint afterwards or it could have been as serious as risking a heart attack, I don’t know, I am not a doctor.
