Queen is creative, but they aren’t metal. For creative metal, Atheist wins just for the sheer oddity of their music. Just listen to the title track of “Unquestionable Presence” for that. If you are going to claim that you know about good metal bands, then you shouldn’t have your favorite bands only consist of the most popular, because it makes you look like a retard. I just named my absolute favorite bands, but if I wanted to, I could have named 50 more of my favorites.

@JonasBrosMustDie Joey Jordison doesn’t have a shred of talent, but even if he did, he couldn’t play this. This is stuff reserved for the very best drummers, although I will admit it’s not as virtuoso as the drumming from bands like Death or Atheist. I prefer more variety like that, but when it comes to speed talent, at least for older bands, Sadus is one of the best, and especially so for Thrash metal.

@ConvokedDemon Thats very true, and steve deserves a great amount of respect. however, i hate how people only seem to talk about steve when mentioning sadus, and seem to forget about everyone else in the band, as if they were minor, and didnt matter. John allen is by far one of the best drummers out there, and Darren can eaisly take the cake for being one of the best death/thrash vocalists.

Steve Digiorgio is WAY too underrated. He contributed too much to the Death Metal scene, provided for the best bass albums for Death, and contributed to Autopsy’s greatest albums. And of course, as you all know, the bassist for Sadus.
Another random fact: One of the few metal bassists that don’t use a pick and even more rare, has a fretless bass.
